The polar extracts from winter showed higher radical scavenging activity by DPPH assay (IC50 = 172.35 ±16.22 µg mL-1) than that of summer (IC50 = 265.48 ± 27.12 µg mL1). On the contrary, the non-polar extracts showed higher radical scavenging activity in summer (IC50 = 312.84 ± 26.71 µg mL-1) as compared to that of winter (IC50 = 443.63 ± 39.62 µg mL-1)
